01Who we are

Veridian Marketing, LLC (“Veridian,” “we,” “us”) is a marketing, web development, and AI implementation company based in Toledo, Ohio. Mailing address: P.O. Box 6507, Toledo, OH 43612. Phone: (419) 540-0015. We do not publish a general email address; use the phone or the contact form.

This policy covers the website at veridian.marketing, including its forms, checkout, and customer accounts. It does not cover websites we build or manage for clients; each of those has its own policy set by the client.

02What we collect

Information you give us

  • Strategy call and Readiness Brief requests. Name, work email, phone (optional), role, company, company website, what you would like to grow or implement, what is getting in the way, and your preferred way to be contacted. We ask for your role and company to understand the decision context, and for the website so we can review the public starting point before responding.
  • Purchases and accounts. When you buy a hosting or support plan or pay an invoice, we collect your name, billing address, email, phone, the plan or invoice details, and an account login if you create one. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
  • Support requests. Emails, messages, and files you send us while we work on your website, including credentials you choose to share so we can do the work.

Information collected automatically

  • Server and security logs. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and timestamps, recorded by our hosting environment and by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site for performance and security.
  • Analytics and advertising tags. The current production site is configured for Google Analytics 4 and includes Google Tag Manager code. [Confirm which analytics and advertising tags run and what data they collect before finalizing this policy.] See section 04.
  • Spam protection. The request forms on this development site use a hidden honeypot field to help detect automated submissions. They do not present an interactive CAPTCHA challenge.

Public information

When you request a Readiness Brief, we review publicly available information about your business, such as your website, search results, and business listings. We do not access private systems to prepare it.

03How we use it

  • To respond to your request in the way you asked, and to prepare for and hold a strategy call or Readiness Brief.
  • To provide, bill, support, and secure the hosting, support, and other services you buy from us, and to manage your account.
  • To send service messages: order confirmations, invoices, renewal and outage notices, security alerts, and replies to your questions.
  • To understand how the website is used and to improve it.
  • To measure and improve our own advertising, where tags are present.
  • To protect the website and our business against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Marketing email. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to ongoing marketing messages. Any optional marketing consent is separate, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the business, and only for the purposes above:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: our web hosts and Cloudflare.
  • Payments: WooPayments provides payment processing for the current checkout.
  • Email and communications: our business email provider, and, for larger projects, collaboration tools such as Slack or monday.com when we set them up with you.

  • Professional services: accountants, lawyers, and insurers when needed.

07Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. You can also withdraw consent you have given. To do any of these, contact us using the details in section 12; we will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the law requires, generally within 45 days.

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a decision we make about a request. Whether a specific state law applies to Veridian depends on thresholds in that law. [Counsel to confirm applicable state laws and add any required disclosures, such as a “Do Not Sell or Share” link.] We do not sell personal information.

If you are outside the United States, note that this website is operated from, and information is processed in, the United States.

08Security

We use TLS encryption on the site, access controls on accounts and systems, security tooling on our hosting environment, and backups. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you as the law requires. Please do not send passwords or card numbers through the contact form.

09Children

This website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10Client data we handle

When we build, host, or support a client’s website, run its advertising, or set up automation and reporting systems, we process information belonging to the client and its customers on the client’s instructions. That information is governed by our agreement with the client and by the client’s own privacy policy, not by this one. We access only what the work requires, and we follow the client’s instructions on retention and deletion. For financial or otherwise consequential systems, we keep human review in the process, as described on our website.

11Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect.
